Pulls to the left

My 2010 Panel has just started to have a slight pull to the left when I let go of the wheel and I can feel it when driving, SOME OF THE TIME, well often but not always. And that is my problem, if it is not doing anything and I take it to the dealer they will not find anything. So I am wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem? Chuck

I have had the same problem but mine pulls to the right. every time they said it was an alignment issue. But id have to take it in again the next month for the same issue. I do not believe that there is a known solution for this problem.

"Pulling" can be caused by a number of different things, actually. Troubleshooting starts with checking for proper inflation of both front tires. From there, you should inspect the front tires for wear and note any differences in tread wear between the two tires. Usually, if the pull is caused by the alignment, you will see a difference in the tread wear on the edges of the tires when comparing one tire to the other. Also, believe it or not, a wheel out of balance can cause what feels like pulling. If you're going to have your front end aligned, you should have the wheels rotated and balanced BEFORE the alignment is done. Have your front brakes inspected for proper pad installation and proper clearance between the brake pad/caliper and the disc. A worn (or failing) bearing can also cause what feels like pull. This should be checked, too. How is the vehicle sitting? Is it level side-to-side? Are both front struts in good shape, no leaks? A failed (or failing) strut can lower the corner of a vehicle, altering the weight distribution and causing a pull to one side.

And one more thing.......let off the gas petal and THEn let go of the wheel and see if it still does it....it seems on mine under power ( that is anything over 40) it will have a slight pull left but once your off the petal she tracks straight....probably just mine but it all depends on how sensitive you are to wheel changes,,some peopel would never notice till its pointed out

This is a new car with 6,000 miles on it so no wear on the tires yet and pressure is the same in all tires. I don't even think the tires are ready for rotation yet. The alignment was actually checked at the dealer a couple of months ago and the car does not get driven much and only by me. So no potholes or anything else that might have knocked out the alignment. I doubt very seriously if anything has worn out yet, at least I sincerely hope not. I did try the gas pedal suggestion but it does not matter. And there is no correlation between speed or anything else that starts it that I can tell. It seems to be pretty random.

Yes they are.

Since it only sometimes pulls/drifts, could it be the road you are on?

My 2006 has had the slight pull from the first day. tried the alignment, tire rotation. Seems to be a front wheel drive thing and not the roads.
