Rattling noise with GoldLine Leveling Springs?

I just installed a set of Goldline leveling springs in the rear, and now when I'm traveling at slower speeds every bump makes the rear suspension sound awful. Is it possible the shocks are supporting the vehicle enough that the top bump stops are falling out slightly or something? Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you have a picture of them installed? Some members state the larger coils work better in the top position.

It only happens on the 2.4, and it does not matter how it is installed. You need to order the Honda tubing, to help silence them. Look at the web page for Gold Lines, the part number is there.
I still have the noise, but I never put the tubing on,,I have no lift.
Also the noise is on the passenger side only.
Or at least on those of us that have posted before.
Gold line and Truck Shop did get involved in this matter. Check the threads under the search option!

Honda tubing fixed mine. Easy and cheap fix.

Actually, I have a 2006 HHR 2LT with the leveling springs and it has now been over a year since I installed mine and no noise yet. So I'm not sure if that problem is specific to the 2LT models.

I may be just lucky... or a coincidence... but I did install the springs a bit different than others that seemed to have the noise problem.

I installed the springs with the larger wider coils up and the smaller coils down. I know another local (Doug - mizzouHHR) who installed his with the same method on his HHR 2LT as I did and last I know, he's been noise free as well.
