I see that RockAuto carries some Raybestos Quickstruts besides the Monroe units that seem to be causing some grief for folks, and the ACDelco ones. Anyone try these yet?

 

The Raybestos struts are made by Dana for distribution at Napa stores. They come from either China or India, haven't really heard anything good or bad about them.

Monroe has corrected the issues with their quick struts, but you have to check the part numbers, revised struts with the correct springs have a star after the part number on the box.

Just put a set of the Monroe's on my panel, no issues in the 1,400 miles we ran it before taking it off the road for a repaint.

 

"new/updated" monroes have been working fine for me, as well.........
