rear helpers

OK, I currently have front lowering springs dropping the front 1.75"
I have stock suspension in the back. I have roughly 600 lbs of stereo equipment in the rear. Currently it sits level. I am about to rebuild and could have approx 1,500 lbs of stereo in the rear. I dont have room for an airbag kit. Any suggestions to keep the back up with the added weight? I am considering air spring helpers in the back. But I am not sure if they will fit with the HHR coils. Anyone have experience with these?

instead of overloading the vehicle, just get a good pair of head phones or a hearing aid, and everyone within 10 miles of you will be happier.

ha, thats what my parents tell me. Funny thing is, I dont even really listen to the stereo when driving around. But it does me no good for competitions or product demos.

Ed RazorLite=I have stock suspension in the back.
Whatever happens you will not have to adjust your headlights because of the weak rear springs, I know that because I was told so here.

I will send him a PM, thanks.

I do have stock springs in the back with the front lowered 1.75". Its level now so if I keep the stock springs and add the weight, the back will sag.

Air spring helpers with that weight will ride ROUGH. Might as well use 2x4's for shocks.

I would talk to a spring company and get a cargo coil set custom made to handle the weight.

not too sure if it'll help the back that much but if anything you can adjust the front lower to level it.
why do you say you can't fit airbags. well heres a link to some airbags if this become a thought and an option for you.

act fast though these are pretty fair prices.

hope this opens up options for you. :twothumbs
and you say gl's in front and stock in back, how's the ride comfort in that?
