Rear pads on an ss. Can I put a cheap set in?

I bought my car used and just befor I bought it the first owner had the front brembo brakes done. Now the rears need to be changed. I wanted to save some money for now by changing the fluid and installing a cheap set of rear pads from autozone until I need to do the fronts. Then at that time I would go ebc redstuff front and rear. I know most of the braking is done by the front brakes anyway so I believe the only downside is the cheap rears will wear out faster than a higher quality pad. I am ok with that because I wanna change all the pads anyway. Any opinions ,feed back or recommendations? I am being cheap right now because I am purchasing snow tires and rims for winter and I can't spend 200 on the pad set I want right now.

The rears do less of the braking, so they won't necessarily wear out much faster. I would get just the rears of whatever pad you want next. EBC Reds are a good choice. The reason to get what you want now, besides the wear-time synchronization issue, is that brake pads deposit braking compound onto the rotor, and you can cause yourself issues if change pad brands without at least turning the rotors. Pad compound mixing can make your life miserable.
