Question Rear Spring Insulator?

UPDATE BELOW!

I searched over 10 threads and up and down online, plus called around to multiple parts places and also a Chevy dealer that DIDN'T even show it in the list of parts.

Does anybody know where to find NEW rear spring insulators for a 2006 LT?

...and in advance, I'd rather buy the GM part or replacement than cut it out of rubber.

THANKS

Should this happen to you, order a NEW Jounce bumper from your GM dealer. Turns out the Jounce bumper has the built in "pad" which happened to deteriorate in the shape of a ring which was kinda confusing.

GM part #: 2599373

I just put springs on and mine were about in the same shape. I used an old piece of roofing rubber and cut it so that the snubber held it centered. No noise so it must have worked.

Gmpartsdirect lists that spring bumper for about $33. I had to look it up for a 2010 since it said NA for a 2006. Should be the same part for the different years. (the same part for the SS may be different)
Not sure why your dealer wouldn't show that part.

can always use a piece of rubber hose to go around the bottom coil..not garden, you'll gain ride height...something thin....will last longer too as it wont move around like the stocker
