From the older posts I've read the discs work fine with the drum proportioning valve. Adding the SS one wouldn't hurt, obviously.

Guys I know there might be some brake work to do I am only concerned about weather the axle will bolt onto the body . The axle I want to buy is on the east coast and I am in Vegas so I can not look at it before hand to see if it will mount easily also as far as suspension I already have Eibach lowering spring all the way around with kyb Shocks so I will take off the ss spring and shocks the rear end and then I will have all the same handleing suspension again . The SS axle only has 13000 miles on it . So does anybody know for a fact that the axle will bolt on to the body ???

Axle is the same, from what I've read..... I've never personally done this. Take that with a grain of salt.....

Did you look at the link I posted earlier? There is also a thread on this site where someone has done this already.

So it looks like I will do it I will let you all know how it shakes out . Thx Again for all your input Mel

On the older cars there was a resiual check valve on the side with out discs to keep the seal in the wheel cyl, sealed. if the valve was left in place with discs it would keep the brakes applied a small amount. Not sure if this is done anymore.

dont know for sure but I was gonna offer 650 and I think shipping would be under 200 but if you email seller and ask how much shipping would be he will tell you thats the only way to really know I never got that far because I was waiting for insurance to give me the go ahead
