Anyhow. Good job on the paint work.
I am hoping though. Isn't the rear set up the same as a Cobalt and our cars?

2009 HHR SS rear calipers are in this picture

They do look somewhat different from the calipers in your pictures

These are 2008 Cobalt SS Brembo calipers the top two, the are for the larger diameter Brembo discs and may have a different ebrake cable

Apparently not. That's why I posted the pictures of my rear calipers in your other thread. It shows how much different the setups are.
I guess I just assumed you would do a test fit before trying to mount them up.

Fwiw. A while back, I got new rotors, pads, wheel bearings and seals, etc. for my old 98 Dodge truck. Spent all afternoon painting the new rotors. Next day, went to install them. Guess what ? Yep. Wrong rotors. Wouldn't fit. Had to return them, get another set of rotors and paint those.

I'm guessing this guy did it as well. I have the same rear calipers as he does.

BRACKET. Wheel Brake Cylinder/Caliper for 2009 Chevrolet HHR. #22705359

If you look at fitment, the bracket seems to be the same for Cobalt and HHR. Your HHR currently has rear disc brakes, right? Isn't the bracket you need already installed on your HHR?

Yes, I have 09 SS without the Brembo setup.

Hey guys.
The problem I'm seeing is that the "new" rear rotors he's trying to install are a bigger diameter than any of the HHR SS ones. Brembos are only an option on the fronts of the HHR SS. The rear discs size is the same on all HHR SS's, Brembo equipped or not.
It won't matter if he has the stock rear brackets. Those brackets are for the ones with the 10.5 inch rotors. I don't see those brackets working with an 11.5 inch rotor size.

I still say a trial fitment is needed. Just thinking they should fit is asking for a letdown if they won't.
Besides the rotor size difference, there is also the E-brake mount looking different.

Seems to be the same bracket for JL9, J56, J65, J66, J67. If your glovebox sticker has one of those codes, you should be good to go. Yours is probably JL9.
