3rd all the above. Make sure you use a coupon fro somewhere, though, for 5% off. That's "normal".

If you could watch what the NAPA counter guy was doing when he was looking for difficult parts on his computer... www.rockauto will most likely be on his screen. They have a really good catalog, if nothing else.

My experience with them has been positive. I have ordered a lot from them. One thing I find interesting is that many times when I have ordered the lower priced part I end up with an actual GM or AC Delco part.

But their commercials are so low budget and cheasey I was hesitant to order the first time. I mean the graphics look like they were created on an Apple IIe from '82.

Yeah, well, that's low overhead for you. You want the price, maybe you should ignore the cheesiness or lack of ads.

they have great prices, just be careful that price is not the only thing that sways your purchase.
cause they do sell some items that are not always the best quality too. Buyer beware.

I said it somewhere before, but I'll say it again: RockAuto operates much like Amazon, they are not the actual vendor, they warehouse and ship many parts for vendors and when you see "ships from remote site" that means directly from a vendor (just like Amazon).

Many times you will find parts cheaper on eBay or Amazon from the very same vendor. I always check all 3 for deals.

Great catalog system!

Very rarely does anyone else beat Rock Auto's prices. And shipping is fast. They are based in Madison, WI and and started as a B&M store there. So even if they drop ship from elsewhere, I feel like I'm supporting a local vendor.
