Monroe quick struts are probably fine for the LS or LT (FE1, FE3). For the rear shocks, I would suggest the KYB's.

It really makes the job easier, and you get new springs and bearing plates too. Just remember to buy stabilizer links. You will likely have to cut the old ones off. I recommend Moog on those. Had to buy them 1/2 way through the job and ended up getting them from Auto Zone in a pinch. I replaced both of them with Moog after 3-4 months. Be sure to torque them properly or they will loosen up on you.
Thanks , My store does sell MOOG so good there on the Stabilizer links ! Quick Struts it is ! I am having a shop install them !

I'll also check out the KYB and see what the shop can order them for ! Why the preference to KYB ? I did have mixed feeling about the Monroe's. but most reviews have been good
Thanks

KYB is good stuff for sure. Their shocks and struts carry a lifetime warranty, I believe.

I went through 2 sets of Monroe shocks on my Dodge truck over the years. Replaced them last year with the KYB Mono Max. World of difference. Firmer and the truck handles better than ever.
Because of that, I believe that the KYB's are just a better product.

I’ve had KYB’s mounted up for several years now, no problems.

George I was looking at the KYB or Bilstein for my 2015 1500 RAM ! I did not know how well the Monroe's would be on my truck ! Good to hear more about KYB. I just want to buy once and like them then twice because i got junk lol.. Plan on keeping my HHR for a long time , or it may go to my grandson !
Thanks
