Shocks
Crateenginedepot purchases are processed through Rockenbach Chevrolet Mega Store in Grayslake Ill.( that's what my receipts say)
If you contact CED, Tom is the guy to talk to. Most of what they list is genuine GM parts unless otherwise noted.

I have been purchasing parts from RockAuto.com. Purchased my KYB shocks from them as well as other parts. Have not had a backorder and good prices as well. May check with them to see if they have what you need.
are the stab end links the same for all models LS, LT, SS? heard on previous posts people been using moog with the grease nip, just want to make sure its going to fit as well
so gmpartsdirect is the cheapest to get parts but as someone else told me they never have stuff in stock, always on backorder, so i thought i'd give them a shout and see if they had the suspension in stock...and nope..backorder. I looked at crateenginedepot and their prices are almost double of what gmpartsdirect is..anyone else know of any other place? are the parts from crate gm/acdelco?
k so considering that crate adn gmpartsdirect and rockauto cannot get the rear fe5 shocks (backorder per GM) does anyone know anywhere elsnd
or would it be wise to buy the rear set used with 60,000kms on them?
I'd prefer new because its daily driven and i put a lot of miles on them...but cant get my hands on any rears

I wouldn't buy used shocks. Not really sure what you're trying to acheive here. What springs are you changing to? You might be able to go with a FE3 type shock.
If you are going full FE5, (springs and struts), then I would say FE5 shocks might be a must. If not, then consider the options such as FE3's.
Kind of depends on your set up and what your objective is such as ride, handling, and/or both.

LS..so swapping fe1 shocs/struts + springs with Fe5 (hopefully) with Pedder springs, want a more firm and responsive ride. I guess I can go Fe3 but the pedders were made off the SS line i believe so theyre meant for Fe5. Also worried that the fe3's wont handle springs and drop which the fe5's can for sure, so might as well go all out and do it right
