Forgot to mention in my last post, should I also order and change the front spring seat/insulator? the lower seat and insulator is about $15 each, and the upper insulator is about $7.50 each. It's not clear from the Rock Auto pictures if the upper strut mounts include the insulator already.

I would hate to go through a strut replacement only to find out I should have replaced the seats/insulators and still had noise. It would only cost about $37.50 extra.

I have changed them around a lot, never needed them.

 

The rear have a foam pad that was deteoriated on mine and cut replacements out of a roll of roofing rubber I had laying around. The rest are plastic on the rear and they should not need replaced.

On the front there are two plastic seats that go into the metal ends of the struts. Mine were in good shape. Unless other parts have actual damage to them there should be no need to replace.
