Springs

I have a 07LS...curious to see if 05-08 Chevy Cobalt SS lowering springs would fit, I don't want to fab anything...just direct bolt on...front & back...

please help! eeeeek!

If youre talking about the factory GM cobalt springs, then yes.
Aftermarket springs for the cobalt will also fit but the ride might not be the same. Eibach specs the same part for HHRs, some other companies dont.
Edit: heres mine with the SS/SC springs. The front doesnt lower much, but the rear levels the whole vehicle great. Performance feels more planted too.

they want the last 8 of my vin of my cobolt, but I don't own one...my local dealers are mildly handicapped.

There are usually some used on cobaltss.net. I got mine for $15.
You can try autotrader to look up a vin if you want.

I found some! from a 06 SS/SC, so now my next question is...for the front, do I just compress the springs and put on the new ones? or do I need cobalt SS struts too...!?

yes you will need to compress the spring to take off the strut and put on the cobalt spring on
