My Canuck's have me at about the same drop as you guys are running with the coilovers but of course mine doesn't ride as good I'm sure. I want to go another inch all the way around and I'll be happy as far the stance goes.

Thanks Moon, I remember you telling me that you new Mike, every time I see him I forget to let him know, I hope the 255 40 18s work on the stock wheels I don't what to change the wheels. Went high on the dampers over the weekend, that didn't last long on the freeway

chefhhr, I to would like to go about another 1/2 inch but I'm maxxed out in the rear, still have an inch left in the front if I want to go lower.

Throw out the adjuster and put the stock plug in the top. I'm only 1/4 higher in the back, a couple wiener dogs level it fine, you coming to the ocean this week end ?

Rainman: The 255/40/18 tires work fine with the extra clearance of the coilovers. You should be good to go with them.
Yeah, when you bump up the damping on the coilovers in the higher range, ride gets a little harsh around town, or freeway. Anything over about 15 clicks over soft is for track use. Full hard is almost wicked brutal.
Yeah, it's been years since I saw Mike[since he's now a movie star-I jest], but just tell him "Moon" from "Moon" Designs hello. Mike is one bad-A artist for sure. "Moon"

Will do, especially the curvy parts, got to stay in practice in case I run up on Moon one day...

Was looking at the KW site today and happened upon these, I think they work on any coilover.

I'd keep the real wood walls, but I'm a little country..

Bringing back this old thread...

Rainman...did you ever do anything different to get that 1/2" more drop in the rear. I heard some of the guys over on the Cobalt forum was removing the locking rings or something to achieve a lower drop. I had pretty much decided to get these coilovers but I'm scared that I want get the drop I'm looking for. I want to be flush and looks like this may not be possible with these on our wagons.

Lock rings are gone from mine also. What do you mean by flush? My height is from bottom center of wheel to fender front and rear 23 1/4".
I'd post a picture but I've been away from the forum so long that things have changed as far as posting a picture.
Maybe SS fan has a couple side shoots laying around he could share of his on KW's and mine on BC's.

Did find this picture in my gallery.

I'm looking for no gap between the top of the tire and the fender. I know the cobalt guys can tuck their tires at the lowest setting.
