I called that GM customer service and they said it would be 7-10 days for shipping. And then i went to ZZP and it stated in Stock , ordered shipped same day.

There are a lot of HHRs out there with stamped steel LCAs. I have not heard of of any problems, but that's not what came from the factory.
There are a lot of HHR SSs out there with the wrong ball joints, and undiagnosed clunks and wanders.
There are a lot of HHRs out there with 12 inch sway bar links.
All of those fast track promotions!! Now no one knows anything because the Release Engineer just wanted 3 promotions.
I have real experience: Mark Reuss (as Release Engineer) was in meetings I was in during 1993. I will completely guarantee you that I STILL remember more about 1997 Park Avenue Body Structures than he knew at his peak. We were in the same meetings.

Wait, how did he end up past the ceiling??? LOL. That above is all true as far as me and him. Why is a lack of part documentation surprising anyone? If you can only recall back to the Ignition Switch fiasco, you should have no questions. There are fools at the wheel more than you suspect.

Gen2 SSTC definitely was cast aluminum. Gen1? I don't know.
