They're out of business...the sportlines are better quality and have a better drop. Worth the few extra bucks (if you can even still find goldlines).

I also would go with the Eibach Pro Kit.

After doing weeks of research that is what I settled on and have been very happy. These springs have a progressive rate to them so they still are able to carry weight similar to the original HHR ones, yet lower the car and give it a stiff but not to stiff ride.

If you go lower and your car is a daily driver ride quality will greatly suffer. But that is a personal preference for you too decide. I would start to hate my car after awhile if it were to stiff.

Once you decide get a rear swaybar. That is one purchase that is well worth it.

I have the Goldlines and really like them. They lowered my car about 2 inches all the way around and it handles soo much better now. This car is fun to drive now. Definatly my best modification.

I'm buying my Goldlines tomorrow for my 07 HHR. From what i've seen they do make the HHR sit lower than the ones from Eibach. The people that i've talk to seem to like them no complaints.

Tracy..I am sure they will look great on your car..and perform nicely. However, for anyone that is running 20" rims with a 100lbs of stero in the rear, you better go Eibach Pro Kit. I get a little rub from time to time. And remember...they settle after time! Todd (Uma)

Uma my next project would be adding some subs. What are you running. I use to be into audio back in the 90's. Kinda grew out of it. LOL Now I want some thump!!! I was thinking maybe running either 2 10" or 2 12". I haven't decided yet. You got a pic of the set up? Anyway

Hey Jay, Todd (Uma) is right, the Goldlines will work on mine,because i'm riding on 18" rims.And the Goldlines do sit lower than Eibachs.Todd' s looks great with Eibachs on 20" rims.
