suspension noise

I have an 06 with 192,000 km. Had the links replaced four times under warranty, since done twice more, bushings done twice and the struts replaced. The noise returned within several weeks. NOT inpressed.

192,000 km == 119,000 miles
From your one other post, I think you said you started having problems around 160k km or 99k miles. So if you've had that many problems in that many kilos, I'd see about a different shop. Something's not getting installed right or they aren't doing something essential, like an alignment.

Yes purchased new in Nov/06. Use it for business. First replaced at 78,000, then 115,000, then 135,000 and finally at 159,000. Thank God for the extended warranty to 160,000.
All done at the dealership.

I'd try a different dealer... How hard is it to recreate? I mean, just drive over a pothole. (Although they may be harder to find in states other than Michigan!!!)

Heres the problem it doesnt happen all the time. Mostly in the morning or when its rainy and cold. Tried leaving it at the dealer and the same thing cant recreate the noise. I would take it to a different dealer except the next closes dealer is 2 and a half hours away. When I do go out of town to a place with a dealer I need the car to errands for wedding stuff. Hopefully after all this driving I will still be under warranty, im sitting at
30k now and have at least 4000 miles to drive before I can leave it at a dealer.

Less than a month after having the links and bushings replaced, the noise came back. Found noise coming from the upper link connection. Removed the nut and found the self contained lock washer flat. Took it too Brofasco Fastners, informed it is a cheap grade 3, replaced all four with grade 8 nuts and lock washers for less than $10.00. Have been noise free since.

My 2007 hhr just hit 168,000kms, replaced both lower control arms because of the rear bushings failed and did pads and rotors. HHR handles fine at all speeds but shudders when braking, thinking it might be the swaybar bushings, the links have no play in them.
Will a visual inspection of the swaybar bushings work?
