It's going to do that paint or not. If you paint it, it will be rusty by next summer. Trust me, I live in Buffalo.
Take a deep breath, install it, and have a hoot on corners now.

How are the bottom of your doors? My 2008 with 37K are bubbling out.

If you're really worried about it, pull it off, sand-blast it, and powdercoat it. It might cost you $40-50 for that, and you could pick a color that you like...

For me, it's under-car stuff, and if it doesn't rust through and stop functioning, I don't care what it looks like. I know I'm biased toward function over fashion, but I'm an engineer. What else would you expect?

just going to say it...... you should've bought a rear sway bar from Powell Race Shop. it's better quality & since they're located in Canada the package wouldn't of went thru border control.

but anywho, hope it's physically ok. sounds like it was dropped with the scuffs on it.

Agree with that. I just have it leveled and it makes a huge difference. Next up new shocks and struts.

skyline- undercoating after the corrosion has begun, is trapping it in..

Personally I would have got some Por-15 to kill it first..

Swaybars:

Imo the ttr bar is a great match for FE3, least on mine. No push in bends, it really balanced it out..
