Does anyone know which bracket I need for the conversion? I have 2011 with 16 inch wheels and want the SS rotors, not the Brembo. It lists 2 different brackets. 4 wheel disc, and disc/drum setup. I have read alot about it, but still not sure which bracket to order.

You need to get the front brackets only, for a 08 HHR SS non Brembo.

I followed Solman98's thread, the SS setup fits in 16" rims

 

Don't forget to upgrade the back too.

 

if you need a complete set of calipers, i have them! came off an SS that upgraded to Brembo's
front and back calipers, maybe 20k on them at the most
$100 for the complete set + shipping
dont have the rotors, just calipers

 

Thanks alot!! The J56 option is the Brembos. I ordered the other one. It had the rotors listed at 296mm (diameter). I pick them up in the morning and hope to have them done by early afternoon! Let you know how they turn out.

 

I did that conversion and they are great.

 

I think I still have the ones I took off my SS when I put on Brembos. Free for the asking, located in Los Angeles. Calipers, rotors and likely the pads are still usable.
