I followed the process in solman98's thread. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I bought some cheap rotors off ebay, but after 40,000 miles, and about 10,000 of them towing, there's still no warping, unlike the factory ones that were bad within the first 30,000 miles.

just to clarify...you can still use the stock calipers with this setup? so you are just changing the bracket?
or does the caliper need to be replaced as well? can you swap the caliper anyway?

This still uses the stock calipers and pads.

Yes you only change to the SS caliper brackets and rotors for the non Brembo's

Oldblue. I can't remember, but will the donut spare still fit on the front after the SS rotors are installed ?

I tried it and it doesn't. In case of flat you have to put the spare on the back. Which with a FWD you should anyway.

OldBlue and Solman - how are your choice of pads and rotors holding up? What did you use? (semi, ceramic..) Need to do my front brakes and thinking of doing this "upgrade". I dont want any squeaking sounds or brake dust!
