Upgrade suspension

I have a 2009 2LT and I want to tighten up the suspension. I DO NOT want to lower it, just make it a bit stiffer. I was thinking of putting SS suspension parts on it, but I'm not sure which parts are different. I also wasn't sure if there was a good aftermarket part that would achieve what I am looking for without a lowering kit.
The front sway bar is making noise so I need to do some work on the suspension anyway, so I figured it was a good time to upgrade some parts.

Thanks for your help.

the SS suspension struts/shocks/springs will work on your 2LT..they are interchangeable.
a lot of us here have done this upgrade and it is inexpensive. There is an aftermarket spring out there made by John Powell called YYZ, maybe google that and look into it, they lower the car just a bit maybe half an inch or so front and back but the spring is much better than the stock SS springs.
Also ad a rear sway bar if you havent already (very easy to do so). For the front bar, make sure you change the bushings that mount to the car AND the end links! Maybe tie rod ends and control arm bushings while you're at it (depending on how much you want to spend) Also make sure you try to get most of the parts with a grease nipple.
This car is notorious for front end clunks
Good luck!

If body lean in corners concerns you, the rear anti-sway bar might be enough, try that first. If overall firmness is what you want, the yyz springs are great.

Energy Suspension 1 inch polyurethane sway bar bushings, Moog 10 inch end links and a TTR rear sway bar helped out as did KYB struts and shocks

Since you have a 2LT which is the sportier and stiffer FE3 suspension and you don't want to lower it:
(1) Add a rear swaybar. Makes a world of difference.
(2) Depending on your mileage, may be time to replace the struts and shocks.
(3) Check all the front end parts. Front swaybar end links, swaybar bushings, and lower control arm bushings are known early wear parts.

"Freshening" up front end parts usually will do the trick.

I found that replacing my struts with Monroe Quick Struts made my suspension a lot tighter, after 90,000 miles.

Fe-5 is great set up. I'm running yyzv1's with kyb struts, I like it better than the fe5 for my work truck, corners great, but rides smoother over the bumps. If you buy a bar, skip the learning curve, and get the hardcore from Powell. I took the SS to an autocross last Sunday that bar is awesome, drove like a slot car.....

Umm, Sam, your panel is usually loaded yes? That will make it a lot smoother....RK, try just the fe5 shocks and struts first...if that isn't enough, then go for the matching springs...struts and shocks will need changed anyways no matter which direction you go...and do the rear bar.

Rear bar is already on the to do list. I just need to prioritize the front due to the rattles.

I see that the front stabilizer bar is a different part on the SS vs. LS/LT. Do I need to replace that as well? Or are they different because of the different engine depths?
