Question Weird squeeking sound when pressing the brake

I have a 2006 chevy hhr everytime i press the brake to slow down the pedal shakes from side to side making a sound coming from the left front side. I changed the shocks, sway bar link, caliper, brake pads and not long ago I changed the arm bushing and the sound and shaking it still happens i do not know what else to check, ask a couple of mechanics with no luck. It is frustrating especially the sound and the shaking that it seems like it is going to fell apart. Can somebody help me pleaseee i'm going

You changed almost all of the usual suspects for front end noises, but did you change out the rotors or have them resurfaced?

Also have your rear brakes adjusted, when they aren't doing their job, you'll put extra stress on the front brakes leading to warped rotors.

Do a search for "Brake Adjustment", and you'll find the info you need to do the job yourself. HHR rear brakes are notorious for creeping out of adjustment.

Checking your rims for balance and radial run-out couldn't hurt. Are you using any sort of spacers?

Also check for sufficient clearance between the tires and the spring perches on the struts.

One more thing to check out, have a look at your tie rods, then as SS fan suggested....take a good look at the hub on that side.

remove the mouse from behind the brake petal......just sayin....
Does this car happen to have ABS ? A petal shaking is usually the ABS modulating..

You did not mention if you have been adjusting your rear brakes or not.
Just so you know our rear brakes do not self adjust like they are designed to do so you need to adjust them every 5k or so miles.
