I found a rear disc axle. I want to do the swap. What will I need to do it? Are the brake lines the same?

You will need the brake hoses. E brake cables , the short cable and equalizer bar under the console, and the axle assembly

Thanks for info. Would all that be on the SS? The seller is saying you just swap them and bleed the brakes.

All from the SS, if you have all the bits and pieces, great, what you don’t get, you can find on the internet, RockAuto for instance.
the e brake parts are important.

i maybe asking about the one i have for sale , if so i have installed 8 rear disc sets ups into drum brake hhrs , they bolt right in i have all the parts needed as to the short cable and equalizer bar under the console never had to deal with it in any of my installs , as most of the braking is up front , the only thing is if u have abs u will have to run the drum brake hubs as the disc brake ones have a different voltage and keep the abs light on ,,, lmk thanks dave

So the E brake cables fit the drum brake lever and longer cable to the equalizer bar? Thanks for clarifying the hubs being different. Perhaps the earlier conversion threads the receiving HHR didn’t have ABS .
