I don't think you can get just the wheel bearing you have to replace the whole wheel hub assembly.

I just had my Drivers Side Hub Assembly replaced this morning, it was covered under the 100k mile drive train warranty
My 2007 has 47500 miles on it. Yours should be covered.

I think you have to remove the entire steering knuckle and use a large hydraulic press to get the bearing out.

The hub assembly is not pressed on. There is another hhr forum that shows pictures of the hub being replacement and looks very easy to do.
While the wheel is on ground, loosen the large nut on the axle, Then jack it up, remove the caliber and rotor, unhook the ABS connector if you have it, remove the axle nut all the way and then the 3 bolts that hold the hub assembly, tap the hub assy with a hammer until it slides out and the install the new one.

Well, I have a 2006 and it seems that they purposely shortened the warranty!!Every problem I've had with "Betsy" has been out of pocket. About 2 months ago I replaced the shifter, now it's the Hub Assembly. Atleast that is what I'm thinking from the information I have read.

Yeah, the newer versions have a lot more warranty on them. I had to do the passenger side bearing assembly. GM wanted nearly 500CDN for it here, so I got it from the US for 140CDN.
