No Problem Dave - I wouldn't want to see you make a bad decision.

Wheels are a big investment!

If money isn't an issue Foose makes a real nice set, plus they are real close to what you are looking for. I checked into them for mine, but didnt want to shell out the cash.......Regards

Unless you buy 16's, the Foose's only come in 8.5 wide...which is quite wide for the HHR.

I looked at them before buying mine.

Yeah, some trimming would definately be involved, if the car will be lowered. Crowbar's are 8.5's I think.

I know these were 20x8.5 with a 35mm offset and 245/30/20 BFG's

SoCal, Do you remember what the offset was on the Foose Wheels?

Naw, but they were too wide for my application.

Search around - it's on the web.

Wheel specs: 5 x 110mm bolt circle, 65.1mm hub diameter, +42mm offset (from rim center to outboard side). Now could someone tell me what the minimum clearance between the caliper & the wheel is? I got a good deal and would like to use these 15" steel rims from an '05 malibu for my snow tires (gotta save the aluminums - great white [salty] north, eh!), but I've only got about 9 - 10mm (~3/8") between caliper & rim with them on instead of the 30mm (~1-1/4") with my stock 16"s. There doesn't seem to be any interference but I wonder if there would be when things heat up, such as under heavy braking. Insight, anyone?
