well yes..its that time again..over the past few seasons the ONTARIO HHR gang hosts our annual GTG..this year will be HHR only...we have learned from our mistakes in the past and this year will be a more laid back event for our gang...Ill do my best to make this an ALL FREE event...in the past we have had quite a few of our American friends show up..we love to see yas..more details will be laid out in the upcoming months..
In the past our weather has really been a big factor with the event..this year we have decided to change dates to help out others so they can attend also...
last year we saw 40 -45 attend in and out..not a bad turn out for our club...but we would like to have even more!!!!
this year the event wont be so "car show"..."show and shine" oriented so the folks with stock HHR will be more encouraged to attend...these meets are more about like minded people and the vehicle they choose to own...not to say we wont hand out an award or 2 for some nice looking HHR...just not 100 like last year...this year only 2 awards...PEOPLES CHOICE...AND LONG DISTANCE AWARD ONLY!!!
we will of course have door prizes from our sponsors...
we are thinkn of maybe a baseball game,,horseshoe tourney or sumthin of that nature for entertainment purpose...location is still not decided but would like to aim for a spot where we could camp...or hotel within shooting distance...this event is all for you guys and your friends...feel free to leave sum input behind to make this one of the best events yet!!!!
this event will be in the NIAGARA AREA...AS CLOSE TO NEW YORK AS POSSIBLE TO HELP OUR AMERICAN FRIENDS

Sounds like a great event! I wish I could make it. Sounds like you have all the makings for a great event. People love FREE and raffles. A 50/50 raffle with the proceeds going to local charity is a good idea also. Good luck. Todd (Uma)

I thought the prudhommes location was pretty good.
How about a tailgate party/picnic kinda thing?

thats the idea..the location we had last season has offered a no charge for this year..but Im still up in the air on that one...Ive stumbled on a better location..2 min from the Queenston/Lewiston bridge..or a couple of other locations in the area that would be better suited for us..unless we wanted to use last years place..its so big we could set up an area for driving challenges in the parking lot...slow drags..reverse slolom course..panel parallel parking..lol..sumthin fun anyway..Im wide open to ideas..

2 years ago we had a fella drive all the way from Manitoba for the event..had the nicest wheels Ive ever seen on an HHR..looks this year we ARE stayin in Niagara area..seems thats where a large percentage of HHR owners want the event..love to have ya..
