mine went from $78 a month on my '00 f150 4x4 to $155 a month on the '06 hhr ls. 500/500 deductibles. according to the ins (state farm auto/home) its because the safety rating on the hhr is not as good as my truck.

Fantom, you need to have your ins. salesman give you a much better answerfor the rate hike other than the safety rating. The 2000 f150 did not get more than 3 stars on any rating. the HHR has several 5 stars!!

Hopfully it will never come up, but hope treat you good in a crisis situation. One reason I stay with State Farm, excellent service when you need them.
