It started life as a 1947 Buick Sedanette aka: Fastback, originally owned & restyled by (Benny) Reno Gracia of Bentwood, Cal. Reno's Buick featured a 1948 Lincoln Grille, & 1949 Caddy Rear fenders, bumper & hood.
Later sold to Bob Sly & years later Bob sold it & after said it was the biggest mistake of his life selling it.. The family is still trying to get it back.. News article says 1946 Buick, but was a 1947, ya know "fake news"..
One of my Mom’s first cars in the 50’s was a 1948 Pontiac Torpedo back 2 dr, I’ve thought many times of finding one and personalizing it. She traded that in for a 1960 Ford Fairlane 2door HT , That was a very sleek car that really caught my eye! George Poteet has one all tricked out. Way past my budget!
