So guys replaced driver side cv axle did not fix the problem still jerks and makes a popping sound with foot on brake and car not moving like i said in previous post replaced passenger cv axle about 8 months ago so don,t think it would be that side. So let me throw this idea out here my son is a pretty good mechanic he says it is the differential inside the trans that is the problem he says it has a open differential what do you guys think could it be that?

If it's hubs, does that mean that the splines have excessive wear? Or is it something else with the hubs?

Only things I think it could be is hubs, differential, or transmission. The CV axles was most likely. It could have worn out in 8 months, does it get abused(do you shift into drive while still rolling backwards, or into reverse while still rolling forward)?

The "all of a sudden" might mean something.

It could be all of the above, the cv axles have apparently been eliminated, it is less likely to be the differential as the 4T45 transmission seems pretty stout. The hubs however are not!

no i do not shift into drive are reverse while moving always come to stop before shifting and no it does not get abused while driving down highway it shifts threw all the gears fine. Could low trans fluid be the causes of the problem? Have not notice any leaks

When was the last time we heard of a mechanical (not hydraulic) problem with the automatic trans-axle? Oh, never!

Have a look at these:
