What, me worry. There are no more details that's really all there is to it. One bolt it's the one on the tensioner pivot point. If You find more than one you are not working on an HHR.

I replaced the camshaft actuators last night and took a peek at the things required to do the tensioner. My original interpretation of "front" engine mount from your message came into question. It's not the the one near the front of the car like I thought, but rather the one at the front of the engine which coincidentally is face to face with the tensioner. Probably do it this weekend.

There is only ONE motor mount, the others are tranny mounts. FRONT of engine is the end where #1 cylinder is, or the end where the harmonic balancer is. The REAR of the engine is where the flywheel is and the transmission is connected.

Not to be confused with front & rear of the car or engine compartment.

Why do you want to change the tensioner? If it's making noise is the only reason. You do not need to remove it to change the belt.

Maybe you said why earlier, but I don't feel like scrolling.

I recently had the alternator replaced because it was making a houling sound. I wasn't exactly sure what it was, but the shop took care of that. They recommended the tensioner being replaced as well because it "sounded rough". Honestly I'm not sure I hear noise from it but in any case, I told them I would take care of the tensioner. The vehicle has clocked over 180K now. I've been thinking of a doing the timing chain too but it seems quiet.
