The Hippo does not go forward (but!... goes backwards).
don say's it's all in the PCM. Who knows?
I'm thinking I need to read up on some of these.
I'll unlock a year at alldata and I'll be able to share information better.
What year should I unlock? Which gets the most attention on here?

Hi guys
Today, as planned, I charged the battery and "rebooted" the TCM -I just stuck the previously removed battery in its regular place. The situation has not changed.
Active communication with different men working in the field of auto repair gradually clears the fog. But the general opinion: "The devil knows, you need to remove the automatic transmission and diagnose."
However, the top 3 possible reasons are:
1. Some kind of "solenoid spring" has broken, the solenoid is blocked, the transmission fluid is not supplied to the first gear;
2. Some "toothy ring" broke, no clutch;
3. A wire came off in the wiring harness - you need to test the wiring, invite an electrician.
I have not checked the transmission fluid level yet, it was not possible. Lots of office work. But I'll take care of it this weekend.
My plan for the near future:
First of all, to find a proven specialist in automatic transmission, I don’t want to give Hippo into the hands of a butcher. There must be an electrician somewhere nearby. There are already a couple of candidates.
Secondly, deliver Hippo to this specialist and check the oil, carry out diagnostics, which is possible without dismantling the automatic transmission.
Thirdly, order spare parts. It will be a long time, I will order in China. The United States was closed due to sanctions, what is in Russia (and there is everything!) Is very expensive and delivery times are comparable to those in China.
The preliminary cost of resuscitation of the patient = 800 - 1000 dollars in terms of the ruble exchange rate. Unless it's a broken wire.
I will keep you informed.

It does sound like the forward clutch is malfunctioning. Might be easier and more affordable to get a used trans.
The solenoid for first is also for reverse. So, if you have reverse you should have first.

4T45E - my automatic transmission
GM puts this on many European vehicles. There are also Asian (Korean for example) manufacturers that are owned by GM and who produce GM models under their own brands. Have any of you heard about Ravon Malibu, made in Uzbekistan?
In general, there are 4T45E in Russia and lot.
But!.. Warranty for the product is 14 days maximum, check upon purchase is not possible, you can only look at the photo. Sphere of such trade is highly criminalized - either they will take your money and sell outright garbage, or they will sell stolen goods.
I see ads: in Moscow, in St. Petersburg, in Siberia. The price ranges from 600 to 900 USD. Plus delivery, plus installation in the car. And if it turns out that the automatic transmission is not working, it's still a repair.
That's why I'm ditching the advertised transmission purchase and sacrificing the ability to save $100-$200. There is no verified supplier.
