Intermitant transmission slip??
The fact that you were able to add the volume of a bottle of Lucas to it makes me think that your dealership didn't get it filled it all the way up. From what I recall, you fill until fluid comes out with the engine running and if none comes out you add until it does and then put the plug back in. Low fluid level would make the trans act up.
As soon as I got my reader, I was able to catch a pending code as my stalling problem happened again. it indicated a problem with the upstream O2 sensor, and was gone next time I started up the car. I replaced the sensor & that problem disappeared... only to have worse problems pop up 3 weeks later which led to me buying the HHR!!!
Just got a new reader: OBDLink MX Bluetooth (available in WiFi version for iOS devices) and it's much better than the one I had originally bought. $100, but comes with software (via download) for your phone / PC & is well worth it IMO. Of course you can spend a lot more & get something like the ones they use at Autozone, Pep Boys, OReily, etc..., but this one's simple, tiny, & uses your phone or PC to display the info instead of a built-in screen.
Here's the reader next to my keys (for scale)

I just plug it into the OBDII interface before I start my day, start up Torque Pro on my phone then go. At the end of the day I unplug the reader - though theoretically, you could leave it plugged in 24/7 However, it is powered on as long as it's connected, and continues to send a signal out over Bluetooth even if your phone / PC / laptop is not close enough to receive...
Now those are way to many keys on that FOB for an HHR! But the reader is a nice easy to use piece.
It also looks like your FOB is ready for a replacement key pad! Like this case and pad,

LOL, there are only 7 keys + FOB & all easily removable! It's only when I'm at home that all 3 sets are on the one master S-biner & just so they don't get misplaced. You should see my backup set of keys... 23 & counting lol
Definitely going to get a pair of new FOB's, I only got one FOB from the dealer, but two keys at least.
Here is the latest "goofy" that I have experienced.
If I turn off the traction control, the slipping problem goes away.
Plus the steering then feels more like my wife's SS.
I wonder if I change the front to rear balance on my speakers, if it will help.
electronic control....hate/love relationship.

If the wheel speed sensor, which is integral to the hub, is reporting a bad speed compared to the other 3 sensors the TC may be triggered. Also could be one of the roll/yaw sensors.
Sounds to me that you may be experiencing random brake application and/or trans shifting NOT a transmission slip.
