trans harness's

hey all, finally getting ready to do the shift solenoids on my 08 LT Panel and am having trouble finding some part numbers. Want to replace as much as i can as long as its apart and I've already picked up in OEM parts -

Torque Converter Pulse Width Modulator
the two shift solenoids
pressure control solenoid
speed sensor
gasket and filter

thinking about getting an internal harness to have on hand but cant seem to find a part number would also like to replace external harness but the part number is worn off mine. Can anyone help me with these two numbers aftermarket or GM? thanks and happy HHR'in

Vehicle issue - runs great but will not shift into 4th, shows p0700 and p0973

P0973 is the 1-2 solenoid only. P0700 means to look for other transmission codes (like P0793). The harnesses are pretty extreme pre-emptive maintenance; why would a wire need replacing with no evidence of a short? Not like there is high impedance going on.
Strange that only fourth is missing.
For information:

hmm, i guess ill have to do some more diagnostics, i just thought because the trans shifts with binary functions of the two solenoids it was somehow tied with 4th more directly by the on/on of the pair like maybe a load issue. My only thoughts on the internal harness was its another item to have on hand once its all apart, seems to be to be in the buck fifty range for the ones i have looked up but did not have an exact part number. I also followed a thread on FB that had the exact same codes and he went through the entire process with no change until he found the external harness was the prob. I suppose if i could find that part number (mine is smudged to bad to read) id probably give that a shot before i started pulling suspension. I still drive the car daily as most of my commute if on city streets so it really hasnt affected my driveability to much, matter of fact if you didnt know there was a code you wouldnt know there was any prob at all. Really wanna get it corrected though as i drive fro Toledo to Cleveland and would like to drive it once in a while .

Looks like a wire or 2 is compromised. Rodents?
P0973 might be a wire shorting somewhere; it is set when a short to ground is detected. That could be a internal short in the solenoid or a external wire. It inhibits 3-2 downshift not fourth gear.
First thing is check the TRANS fuse, then use a VOM to look for shorted wires.

The resistance of the 1-2 solenoid should be between 19-31 ohms.

Here is the outside connector. the RD and L-GN wires go to the 1-2 solenoid.

Watch out for airbags, the B0083-71 means the front impact sensor is sending "invalid serial data".
Was the car in an accident?

thanks Don i have posted about this before and you and others have given me some great leads to start with and im thinkin its time to get this done it just hasnt affected my daily commute much but i really would like to use this for some longer drives now that she's got fresh paint and a full Eibac/KYB kit. I dont think ive posted pics in a while but im pretty happy with how it sits and rides

Yes the car was hit in the nose when i bought, above bumper and needed a hood/rad/fender/headlight. Car came with parts in right color and only took me a few hours to have the car on the road. Once i correct the trans codes i am going to go after the other ones.

Hit? Which side? Look for a loose or broken ground wire.

high hit right on the nose slightly left. Was above the bumper for the most part and mostly superficial. Stressed in the top of the core support but a quick pull with a come-along took care of that. Doubt they were going five mph or so. It came with all the parts in color and the day i had it delivered it got here around five PM and i drove it home that night . I just pulled 'er in the shop gonna do some diagnostics this afternoon. Thanks for all your help
