Diskullman's October submission

Name: Russell Giuliano
Location: Middletown, NJ
Car Info: 2008 HHR 2LT Panel
Modifications: CGS Intake, Rear Seat Installed, Custom Wheels, Paint & Graphics
Future plans: Air Ride (when warranty is up)

I first looked at an HHR for a friend that was shopping. I did not like the look originally, but then I saw the PANEL! I had a dream about it, then I was inspired by an old Chevy picture on the wall in the dealer's waiting room.

That's the part I wasn't really sure of, but I think I've figured it out now.

Thanks

I love your color combination, and was wondering if your HHR started out white or red? Personally I love white, and would have loved to have gotten mine that color except for 2 things. First, when I bought mine, white was very rare and hard to find. And second, I did not really like the white they chose. I have seen GM offer a beautiful pearl or metal flake white cars, so I do not understand why they chose not to have one of them on the HHR. Personally, I love white flip-flop except that it is impossible to touch up.

When I bring my Flash in for some minor body work and to patch up my numerous holes, I am thinking about doing the roof in a different color. After seeing yours, perhaps white.

When I bought my HHR, most of the panels on the lot were white. I guess the dealer envisioned them as service trucks. Not much selection otherwise.

Man, even though I'm always partial to the black I may swing my vote the other way this time. I really dig the wheels. Nice Job!
