my mpg has been going down alot

for some reason after i did my oil change the DIC says im getting 16-18 mpg in city and 22-24 on the highway

my engine is sucking on the gas tank like its a big gulp!! WTF.

and yes im easy on the go with rpms under 2500 and high way speeds at 65 max

i just dont get it . it used to get 25 city and 32 high way.

i had to fill up twice this week with my normal driving like i do EVERYWEEK

i only had to fill up every week and a half before i got my oil changed . is there something i need to change i dont know about ?

im going to change the air filter tomorrow . and i put a new oil filter in when i did a change with the right amount of oil
just so everyone knows

Check you tire pressure. Keep it near the maximum pressure

oil

synthetic oil does make a difference , as well as the weight...i'm using 0w-20w oil now , and i think i will continue , since i found that it increased my mpg...i will also cotinue to use napa gold air filters , unless i install a cold air intake...my mpg is aways above 30 now even if i mix some 80mph runs in on my route.

Recently I had the check engine light come on. Before that I noticed the fuel economy getting worse. When I took it to the Dealer they told me one of my injectors was bad. They replaced with the new version? Mine is a 07 2.4. After that it is getting better MPG than when I got it.
