Smile New owner, great mileage

Purchased a '06 LS (2.2) automatic about 3 weeks ago. Did a bunch of running around, probably 65% city and averaged a measured 29.3 mpg, 2 fillups, then decided time for a highway check. A measured check at 170 miles yielded 38.1 mpg, again calculated. The DIC is very close, within about .4 MPG. Open highway speed averaged 63 mph. I am very pleased with these results

Congrats. I'm surprised how good mileage this gets, considering it's a 4-speed. I Just got a 5 speed 2.4L. The CPU says 25.6 which I'm happy with. Not as great as my Fit which got 32 real world, but the fit wasn't as fast, big, or nice as this baby.

I haven't added my first fill up yet, so I don't know if the actual mpg is clsoe to the CPU estimate.

WELCOME from Michigan

I'd get better mileage with my '08 3-window Panel if I wouldn't drive so fast
and jump start.

You know how it is Boydie, the more you use the "loud pedal", the more often you'll be at the pumps. But it is fun to get on these critters and make 'em sing.
