Glad your ok. Geez, I hate looking at this stuff. Been T-boned twice in 7 years. Once by a car thief doin' 70mph. It just gives me the willies.

well, it will be a bump... but this thread really makes me feel good about my plans to buy an HHR...

like someone said, they experienced the force of hitting a wall at 110 mph... and they will be able to walk away from it...

when i was a teen, my pathfinders brakes went out. i T-boned and totaled a ford ranger with 6 miles on the odometer, and ripped the front clip off my truck.

this was at 15 mph! i get the feeling had the other driver been in an HHR, he wouldnt even have had to go to the hospital!

I hope the other driver feels bad.
when I had my accident, I couldnt get behind the wheel for a year. without having a panic attack and bawling.

First time seeing this thread also. Very glad that no one was seriously injured.

You know, it's not so long ago that a head on collision at highway speeds would have been a death sentence for any front seat occupant. This really speaks well for the design of the HHR, as well as the effectiveness of crumple zones, seat belts and airbags.
