2.0L Boost Pressure

I have had the power upgrade done on my motor and noted an increase in the boost pressure as expected. I was wondering what other SS owners are seeing as a maximum boost pressure. It is upwards of 19-20 psi on my car. Is that about what it should be?

I was back at the dealer for something the day following the power upgrade install and the service manager asked me "So was it worth it?". Then he smiled and said "Never mind, I know the answer already by the smile on your face". Thanks guys.

Depends on where you live. 19- 20 PSI would be about right for near sea level.

Higher areas can see 22-24 normally. Here in Ohio I see 22-23 under normal conditions.

The computer will vary the boost on alt and weather conditions so it can change a little. There is no absolute number.

As long as it doesn't go over 24-25 psi you're fine. Typical boost readings will be between 19-24 psi as already stated depending on altitude and weather conditions.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on your boost pressures. Interesting on the change due to weather. I did see a difference while up in New York vs down here in Florida. Appreciate the feedback!
