Sounds like the original owner/previous driver(s) may have ragged on it some and did some burn outs and the worn tires were then rotated to the rear.

If it was not discussed/negotiated during purchasing there is probably nothing the dealer will do for you.

Give me the last 6 of your VIN and we will settle this.

Also how many miles are currently on the vehicle?

It is an LT that was upgraded to a 2LT by the original purchaser, which was Avis. This is from your build sheet. If you want to see the entire build sheet PM your email to me and I will send it and your warranty information.

2LT - 2LT PREFERRED EQUIPMENT GROUP: *2.4L HIGH OUTPUT ECOTEC ENGINE *CHROME EXHAUST TIP *SPORT-TUNED SUSPENSION *LEATHER WRAPPED STEERING WHEEL *STEERING WHEEL RADIO CONTROLS *LEATHER WRAPPED SHIFT KNOB *INSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR, AUTO DIMMING, COMPASS *AUDIO SYSTEM, HIGH PERFORMANCE WITH 7 PIONEER SPEAKERS *WHEELS, 17" PAINTED ALUMINUM *BRIGHT CHROME APPEARANCE PKG *FOG LAMPS *ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM

As far as the alignment goes, since it has been 3000 miles you may not get anywhere with the dealer and GM only covers the alignment up to 7500 miles, so it is no longer a warranty issue.

Mirror caps BLACK ----- LS

Mirror caps BODY COLOUR ----- 1LT

Mirror caps SILVER ----- 2LT

Now if you have a black HHR with black mirrors you have to check something else.
