I know this sounds crazy but has anyone else had an issue when they have the a/c on the lowest setting (the first notch) making a jingling sound? It almost sounds like keys rattling or something. It immediately stops when I either cut the air off or bump it up to notch 2. I drive about 30 minutes to and from work everyday and it seems to be worse towards the end of the drive when the car is hottest. I'm taking it to the dealer to get the rattling headliner fixed and I'm hoping they can figure this out. Between the headliner knocking and the a/c jingling, it's not a very quiet ride right now. I didn't see this problem listed in the forums so maybe it's just confined to mine. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

Mine makes the same noise at low fan speed. More than likely it is the fan motor bearing going bad. I haven't looked into it yet. Let us know what they find.
