I think it looks good. I wish that pontiac would have made one. I have wondered what a pontiac version might have looked like. The gauge cluster from a G5 looks like it would fit perfect. I have had a lot of pontiacs and I have always liked the red lettering and lights in the dash at night. I really like my wifes G6 interior.

1. Coming soon! The new HHR!!

2. Its here! The New HHR!!

3. Buy the new HHR!!

4. Hey we now make a panel version!!

5. Hey there tiger, how about an SS!!

6. Rebates!!

7. Yeah we still sell them.....

8. Yeah we still sell them, but no more AA5 half panel...

9. Yeah we still sell those, but no more SS.....

10. Those old things, yeah I suppose, if you really want one....

11. They are going away next year, but if you really want one....

12. Have you seen the new Cruze!!!!

I know its inevitable, but I don't want to think of the HHR's in the past tense yet or ever.
Don't forget......

13. Wow! An old HHR! We had one of those when I was a kid! Don't see to many anymore....

I forsee the new Camaro being a dime a dozen 20 years from now, as so many people will preserve them, while the majority of HHR's are just family wagons that will be disposed of when worn out...

I plan on being that old guy with the old HHR LOL. I have met too many friends and had too many good times with my HHR to get rid of it. Todd (Uma)

That was Pontiacs problem and killed them. They already sold too many restyled Chevys.

Just look a the Equinox and Torrent. There was no need for two of these.

Once Pontiac lost real performance other than the Sosltices and G8 they were doomed.

If Pontiac had got a HHR it would have not had a Turbo like the G5.

Back in the day Pontiac used to tune the engine and suspension to make them their own. Pontiac had some of the best engineers in the business, look at the Trans-AM vs Z28, the handling was way better. There was a lot of politics and competition in the development of the cars. I was always a fan of the styling of Pontiacs. I was torn between the Vibe and the HHR last year when I bought my HHR. I chose the HHR because the Vibe is a Toyota under neath and I just do not care for Japanese cars. They are just so much harder and more expensive to repair.

Pontiac started to die when GM killed the V8 Pontiac engine. Accept for some special models like the Fiero, Solstice, Turbo V6 TA pace car or G8 were reduced to being a restyled Chevy.

MY 04 GTP is not much more than a fancy Impala with heads up.

The Vibe was not even under consideration. If I wanted a Toyota I would have bought one. I drive a Chevy today because Pontiac did not offer the Tubo Eco in anything but the Solstice. Something wrong about that.

Over the years I have owned or driven many of the best Pontiacs ever. At one time you paid more but got more than a Chevy. For the last good while all you got was a higher price and better styling.
