Does anyone know if the two different styles of AC compressors swap easily?? Just found out, there are two different kinds. One is a Sanden the other i do not know?

I obviously have the inferior brand, it feels like it pulls 30 hp out of the motor. The car has 44k and is getting 17.5 mpg around town in Phoenix!!! That is just unacceptabe. When i knock out the AC it turns into a little rocket. Otherwise it's bit of a sled???

But was does it get when you do 100 miles at 55 MPH? That is where the good MPG starts.

In mixed traffic (some highway) with A/C on my 2011 LT 2.2L gets about 20MPG. On the highway 300 miles at 70MPH I'm at about 30.5 MPG with the A/C. 33 MPG without.

 

I believe the other is a Delphi. From what I've seen they're not interchangable without changing the hoses and maybe the mounts also.
