Why is the SS model not included in the poll? I would like to partipate.

Mine's a black 2LT, and I tell ya... while I occasionally surf eBay looking at parts and accessories, I've no real desire to change or customize Herman at all. Since the HHR had a small number of years in production, I think the 2LT would be the one to have if you're looking at keeping a car long-term.
The SS would also fit that bill for me, but if I'd gotten an LS... I'd be really wanting to customize the thing.

 

I was all set to respond, thinking it was a poll on a used HHR somebody wanted to buy......

So I'll answer it my way.
Get the 2LT. Worth it for the sport suspension alone.

I love mine and the extra power. In 3 years all I have had to fix is a tire sensor.

 

get the 2LT!!! you wont regret it. much nicer car i my opinion. my first hhr was a 2lt. i test drove a 1lt with a 2.2 and didnt like it at all, in fact i almost kept my cobalt instead of trading it in. then i found out about the 2.4l option and sport suspension. it was a completely different car......
