In changing the bulbs I broke off the tabs that hold the rear window brake light cover
Tried gluing them back but they just continue to brake
Looking for a source of a replacement cover ( black ) Thanks for any help with this

 

The inside cover is obsolete and you will have to search wrecking yards or EBay , but hopefully someone here has one

I did find a part number
22736245. Of course many GM parts vendors have it listed but when you click on the part , discontinued!! Bummer.
I’m thinking most yards would not want to separate this from a perfectly good hatch even though they break them when they tear them off to detach the hatch.

Happy hunting, some small pick a part places still have a few HHRs in the yard.

 

If you find the right LED, you'll never have to open it again so you can just install it with a good clear urethane sealant. Clear silicone will work too and would be less permanent.

 

Trouble is the LEDs are noted to not function with the cruise control system
