33.4 Mpg
I know I do a lot of highway driving, 90% highway, but I sure don't understand why your mileage is so low. Mine is normally 30 and above and I drive in the 75 mph range, some higher/some lower... I still have my Silverado and I was getting 19 mpg with it doing the same driving and routes which is kind of high for a full size extended cab truck. I do not get into the pedals taking off or stopping, I think they call it grandpa driving, but hey, i'm a grandpa... lol

I have about 18600 miles and drive about 45 miles a day mostly highway miles. I've reduced my speed to 65 mph and at best average 25 mpg. In town I average 22 -23 mpg. I have not seen a difference by resetting the DIC, the calculations are still the same. Never the less, I am still happy with my HHR...
I wanted to check mine out and see how I was doing. So last time I filled my tank up, I reset the mpg, trip counter and avg speed. My daily drive to work in axp 39 miles one way. About 5-7 miles of this is city the rest is freeway.
On the freeway I have a problem with a heavy foot, so when I could I used the cruise and it was set about 73 mph. I was suppised in the results.
438 miles on the tank, I could have made it most of the way home before filling up but did not want to chance it. avg mpg 28.7. With this being a combined city and freeway I do not think this is bad at all. Photos from a cell phone

avg mpg yes it does read 28.7 blurry photo

I believe you just confirmed my statement.
And, just as you applied a little extra effort, I also believe others can recognize some gain also.
I also wonder if where we get our gas makes a difference, do some states push alcohol added in for pollution control?? What brand does everyone use, maybe we have a good chance to poll what brand vs what mpg and see ir there is a difference. In upstate NY, I think they play with the gas formula in the winter vs summer to keep the air "clean".
I'm get more and more disappointed by the tank. Like I said before, mine is driven almost all highway miles. We haven't even had it two weeks and we already have 1100 miles on the odometer. The fuel economy says 24.0 mpg for this tank, and that's with 93 octane. Last tank was 87 octane and it was 25 something.
At 1500 miles (which should be next week) I'm going to switch to Mobil-1 and see how that goes.

I'm averaging 23-24 50/50 city/hiway with 87 octane. 25-27 with 89 and a little better with 91.
I can tell a big difference when I drive like Gramps and when I drive like Mike!
Mike usually drives Bob though!
BTW, installed CGS intake today and can already tell I'm getting better mpg. About 70 miles averaged 27 mpg city/hiway burning 87.
