bought my 06 HHR 2LT used last new year's eve(12/31/07).
It had 32,xxx miles on it at the time of purchase.

64,800 miles on it now.

I've been driving it since then like it was made to be driven.

32,400 miles later, I am happy to report the following:

repairs needed- NONE
upgrades-installed ebony carpet and seat covers(cloth) to replace factory gray
oil changes - 2 (as per DIC)(closing in on 3rd though-12k mi. per oil service, avg)
mpg - avg 29.8
problems- NONE
complaints - ZERO.

Just thought I'd share that info folks, in case anyone was wondering how these cars hold up.

I've been commuting in it, a couple road trips, 1 move, and many passionate/spirited driving adventures.

great to hear. I am coming up on one year of ownership in January with 13k miles, and no major problems yet either. Just happy driving everyday.
