I installed my new 3rd brake light flasher today. It's pretty cool and easy to install. I just spliced the blue wire going to the plug of the light and wired it up. Now it flashes 6 times and stays on steady. With the new HHR brake light cover, it really looks cool. I got it from:

I always want to tap cars that have these things, not enough to cause damage, but just to piss the owner off.

I like them, as you say, grabs your attention...

That way you don't slam into the back of me. I just changed my bulbs out to LEDs also so they are brighter.

Got run over on my HD so now I try to be as visible as possible.
