Yesterday the local elcheapo gas station had low grade ( 86 ) at $2.59 and high test ( 93) at $3.09, so a fifty cent difference was kind of high vs the gas mileage increase we get using hightest, so I went for the cheap stuff.
This 'New Class of Gasoline' Top Tier, is this really as it states in the report ? If so, I guess I'll try and seek some out.
I'm going back to hightest or 91 octain as soon as the difference in price vs 86 is much closer.

Yeah, it is correct. I saw some data and, frankly, some tear-downs, in regard to this. My wife's Caddy (gone now) was a test vehicle for it.
Oh, and don't confuse top-tier with premium...they are not the same. This vehicle alliance specifies the brands of gasoline, not the grades.
