Ok and im back.

Clutch pulley and clutch both spinning.

Only AC gauge I can check is the lower line, the pressure gauge I have doesnt fit the top line :-(.

I tested it, with AC on, recirculate, face vents.

 

That gauge means nothing. You need both real gauges hooked up.
As an inside secret, you can call OldBlue Mr. Blue if he likes you.

 

lol i forgot to capitalize certain parts. I made sure to correct my self the next time OldBlue been really helpful.

Gauge wise, thats all I have, never really liked messing with AC due to freeon etc.

I asked one of the Mech friends and he said he wont touch AC due to it cost him more to dispose of freeon then it would oil/antifreeze.

I’d bring that up a touch on the gauge just to see any possible changes.
Now this sound silly but , did you inspect the serpentine belt and tensioner?

no i didnt check the serpentine belt or tensioner. Bought the car the night before surgery and i really didnt get to do much to it.. Hell i didnt even get to do an oil change, i let her take it to a quick lube place and OMG did they rape us on price...

$70.00 for Syn-Con mix plus filter.. they did more then oil tho ha.

 

If the compressor is turning doesn't that mean the belt is working? No squealing/rattling would mean idler OK?

Those Q-lube places pretend that M1 still costs $12/ Qt

 

I agree. This looks low

Use this chart and meet the low side pressure. As said above, without knowing the high side pressure, this is a difficult diag. **Use 40psi as a min.

 

i threw that cheap gage on the low again, it moves between 30-40, needle doest stay still.

 

You are going to have to find a set of manifolds to see what the high side is. I'm wondering if the system static isn't 40psi or so and when it kicks on its dropping to 30 before the low pressure switch is kicking it out allowing it to hit 40psi again.

We just don't have enough information to be helpful here.

 

im waiting for a buddy to get back from their trip, he thinks he has a the kit to check the pressure on both low/high so i can get the readings.
