no i didnt check the serpentine belt or tensioner. Bought the car the night before surgery and i really didnt get to do much to it.. Hell i didnt even get to do an oil change, i let her take it to a quick lube place and OMG did they rape us on price...

Use this chart and meet the low side pressure. As said above, without knowing the high side pressure, this is a difficult diag. **Use 40psi as a min.
i threw that cheap gage on the low again, it moves between 30-40, needle doest stay still.
You are going to have to find a set of manifolds to see what the high side is. I'm wondering if the system static isn't 40psi or so and when it kicks on its dropping to 30 before the low pressure switch is kicking it out allowing it to hit 40psi again.
We just don't have enough information to be helpful here.
