The HHR has more power, with the seat removed I think the PT has more cargo room. The HHR rides better but the PT handles better. The HHR gets better gas mileage. The Pt gets more looks (its bright yellow) the HHR is red, lots of red cars on the rode...it doesn't stand out as much. They were both priced about the same.
All in all they are both great cars. I like them both and don't mind driving either one.

I do have the 2.4 HHR and I do have the Rt 66 Pt but the Pt is none turbo. With 20-25 less HP the Pt is alittle slower than the HHR.

So what`s the gimmick, Route 66, what`s unique about it, the paint?
My wife just reminded me that the route 66 is a scenic route, sorta laid back, I was thinking about the Route 66 race track in Joliet, Ill..

The Rt 66 edition is painted Solar Yellow and there was less than 1000 built with that color and the Rt 66 badging. It is a very unique color for the Pt and there isn't alot of them around. Chrysler also says they won't use that color again for the Pt for at least 2 years.

Well I've never seen one of those Rt. 66 PT's. They look very sharp in yellow. I like it!
